After visiting a couple blogs with the wooden background, I started thinking it might be time to incorporate a unique theme for my blog. There aren’t very many wordpress themes that have customizable backgrounds and headers! I tried to download from wordpress.org but there wasn’t really a way to do “FTP”….whatever that means.
So I went with a plain theme and added some fun colors! I’m still not all about this theme….I don’t like the font and I wish I knew how to work with the colors. I need to bribe my programming husband to get to work on this 🙂
Pink "Alice" Plaid
This plaid is so me! I love the pink with a punch of yellow….very fun! Then I thought the “Rx” portion of my theme was missing, so I found a crazy pill montage for the header:

I made the designs on Colour Lovers….it’s an amazing website where you can create colors, patterns, and more! Very nice resource for fellow bloggers.

I need to do a new background for mine…the one I have is too washed-out. I’ll do it in photoshop once I’m done this crazy sale this weekend. It’s 1:20 am and I’m up because I can’t sleep so I’m packaging bath salts. It’s times like these I think “I do this why???” 😀

I love this look! WordPress, to me..is not easy to set up. I was just about ready to pull my hair out while putting mine together. But I survived and I’m sure will continue to learn as I go! I was just so proud of myself when I figured how to attach a url to an image! lol You did good girl!
