Mrs. Cummings’ Craft Chair

It was late last Thursday night….my sister’s last day in Seattle! Rather then doing something productive like finishing organizing my closet or making something out of our bead shopping splurge, I decided we should find a comfy lounger for the Craft Room (or as my husband still calls it, the garage).

We searched through 5 thrift stores in search of the perfect chair. We came up short every time, finding hair covered nasties and thread bare seats. We were about to give up and stopped by the liquor store to stock up on wine, when we decided to try one last store. It was 15 minutes to closing, so we ran to the furniture section to steal a peek.

There she was……this little beauty for 20 bucks! Not exactly what I imagined but SO COMFORTABLE. We celebrated with a bottle of Prosecco, score! First thing Michael says “we are NOT taking that to my new house…..where are you gonna put that thing!?” and the next day he’s reclining in it with his laptop, ummm hello no boys in the  CRAFT ROOM!!!

I also got this little wooden cocktail stand for $7……it was a successful trip! As I sit in my comfy crafting chair, I will advise you now. Every craft room needs a good chair. Now GO, find yours 🙂
