Blood Orange-tini

I found this blood orange sparkling soda at the store the other day and thought it might make a fun cocktail! I mixed it a few different ways, and failed a few times until I finally came up with the “Blood Orange-tini.” My husband drank the mistakes…..which is probably why he is sleeping on the couch right now 🙂

Orange you glad it has VODKA in it...

The ingredients:

1 oz vodka

1 oz triple sec

2 oz sparkling orange soda

2 oz orange juice

orange for garnishing

This orange soda might not be easy to find but any kind of sparkling water of orange flavor will do. You could even try orange flavored San Pelligrino. This drink is on the sweet side so if you like tart you could add a splash of lemon juice to tone it down.

Chillin...

Chill your martini glass with ice while you are gathering the ingredients. A short alternative to having a frosted glass from the freezer. I got these cute and crooked martini glasses as a gift…these are fun to drink out of but dangerous after a few cocktails…user beware!

Orange-tastic!

Shake, pour, and serve! This cocktail has a mild and sweet taste, perfect for people who don’t like to taste the alcohol. This is easy to make and could easily be made into punch-form for a party! Enjoy!
